HOLY PLACES FOR HINDU PILGRIMS
There are five holy lakes (SAROVARAMULU) that are considered sacred for Hindus in our country. If possible, one should take a dip in all these, once in lifetime:
- Manasa Sarovaram at the Himalayas
- Pampa Sarovaram near Hampi, Karnataka
- Pushkara Sarovaram near Ajmir, Rajasthan
- Narayana Sarovaram near Katch, Buj Town Gujarat
- Bindhu Sarovaram near Sidhapur, Gujarat
MANUSMRITHI
- Treat your child like a king till he/she reaches 5 years of age. Treat him/her like a servant till the age of 10. Once children reach 15 years of age, treat them like friends.
- Do not reveal to others — one’s own age, his possessed wealth, disturbances in his house, mantramu, medicine, his charity (danamu). insults inflicted on self.
- Do not marry a woman who is more than his age.
- Nights do not food eat with curd –it reduces the age. Eat with milk — it increases your age.
- Whose anger lasts for a kshanam (1 MINUTE) — HE IS A SAJJANUDU (GENTLEMAN). TWO GADIYALU ( I THINK IT IS 8 MINUTES) — MIDDLE — (MADHYAMUDU). IF THE SAME CONTINUES FOR ONE FULL NIGHT — HE IS ADHAMUDU — LEAST. AND THE SINNER (PAPAMTHMUDU) ANGER LASTS TILL HISDEATH.
